Tesla unveils its Model Y electric SUV

The company’s fifth car will be available in four configurations, and will seat seven passengers with an optional third row. The base variant comes in at $39,000, with a range of 370 kilometers (230 miles) on a single charge; the top-end Performance model will be able to cover 450 kilometers (280 miles), hit a top speed of 240 kmph (150mph), and set you back by $60,000.


“It has the functionality of an SUV, but it will ride like a sports car,” Musk said. “So this thing will be really tight on corners.”

Elon Musk Unveils SpaceX’s 1st Rocket Engine Test for Starship

He tweeted photos and video of the new Raptor rocket engine, which is supposed to power a prototype Starship that will take people around the world. One day Musk envisions the rocket will take people to Mars.



Starship is the 100-passenger stainless-steel vehicle SpaceX is building to take people and cargo to Mars and other distant destinations. Starship will launch atop a giant rocket SpaceX calls Super Heavy.
